Genuine STMicroelectronics triac rated 600 V and 16 A RMS, for switching AC loads on 230 V mains such as lamps, heaters and motors, in power controllers, solid-state relays and dimmers. 50 mA gate current, the standard version with the best immunity to false triggering. The Snubberless version switches inductive loads (motors, transformers, solenoid valves) without an RC snubber network. TO-220 with metal tab connected to terminal A2: an insulating kit is needed to mount it on a shared heatsink.
