Genuine STMicroelectronics triac rated 600 V and 8 A RMS, for switching AC loads on 230 V mains such as lamps, heaters and motors, in power controllers, solid-state relays and dimmers. 50 mA gate current, the standard version with the best immunity to false triggering. The Snubberless version switches inductive loads (motors, transformers, solenoid valves) without an RC snubber network. TO-220 with insulated tab: the heatsink is not connected to the terminals, so it can be mounted without an insulating pad.
