eSUN PLA-LW Black 1.75 mm filament is a lightweight PLA developed for building model aircraft. Active foaming technology makes the material expand as it prints. Parts come out low in density, with almost invisible layers and an even matte surface.

Printing tips
- Do not slow down the first layer. Keep it at the same speed as the rest of the print.
- The degree of expansion depends on temperature, speed and the melt chamber volume of the nozzle. Calibrate flow, temperature and wall thickness with test prints.
- With PTFE-lined (Teflon) hotends, avoid running for long periods over 250 °C. Always respect the maximum temperature of the printer to prevent clogs.
- Because the material keeps foaming in the nozzle, retraction is largely ineffective and stringing may occur. Vase mode is the preferred choice for RC models.
- Parts may turn slightly yellow when foaming at high temperatures. This is normal and is reduced by lowering the temperature.

Print results
Print quality depends on the printer and its calibration, the profiles and settings used, how the filament is stored and the user's experience. The temperatures and parameters given are the manufacturer's starting values: tests and adjustments are the buyer's responsibility and at the buyer's expense. Failed prints or material used up because of unsuitable settings or hardware are not product defects.
Returns and withdrawal
The filament is vacuum-sealed because it absorbs moisture from the air. The right of withdrawal (14 days, consumers only) applies when the spool is returned with its vacuum packaging intact and sealed. An opened package can no longer be sold as new: in that case the refund is reduced by the loss in value of the product (Art. 57(2) of the Italian Consumer Code). Purchases made with a VAT number are not eligible for withdrawal. The legal warranty for defective products always applies.
