Sits on top of a Pro Trinket or ItsyBitsy board and lets you plug in a LiPo/Li-Ion battery, with no need to wire several boards together
When the board's USB port is powered the battery is recharged automatically; unplug USB and the microcontroller switches over to the battery
Three-stage charging: preconditioning, constant current and constant-voltage top-up
100 mA charge current (works with any battery and USB port), switchable to 500 mA by closing a solder jumper, for batteries of 500 mAh or larger
Red LED while charging, green LED when fully charged
An on/off switch can be added by cutting a dedicated trace
Ideal for 3.3 V versions; 5 V versions often run fine from the battery's ~4 V too
On the ItsyBitsy nRF52840 it covers the reset/user buttons (alternatively connect it with 3 wires)
