Typical applications
Audible signals and voice messages in machines, instruments, handheld devices, panels and equipment for indoor and outdoor use. It is also well suited to Arduino, ESP32 and other microcontroller projects for advanced beepers, notifications, alarms and voice prompts.
Mounting and wiring tips
- Do not drive it straight from a GPIO pin: use an amplifier module such as the PAM8403, MAX98357 (I2S, convenient with ESP32) or LM386, compatible with 8 Ω loads.
- Limit the output power: the speaker is rated 1 W (2 W maximum), so set the volume cautiously, especially with more powerful modules.
- Cut a 36.5 mm hole; for IP67 sealing fit it in a closed enclosure and seal the rim.
- Solder the connections quickly without heating the joints for too long.
