Key features
- INA3221 chip: measures high-side voltage and DC current of three independent power supplies over I2C, with ±1% precision
- High-side or low-side current measurement, up to 26 V DC, while powered at 3–5 V: does not disturb the circuit ground reference
- Also reports the bus voltage, useful for tracking battery charge or solar panel output
- Built-in 0.05 Ω 1% shunt resistors: with a maximum differential input of ±163.8 mV it measures up to ±3.2 A with 0.4 mA resolution (13-bit ADC)
- Advanced users can replace the shunt to change the range (e.g. 0.01 Ω to measure up to 16.4 A with 2 mA resolution)
- Programmable alert outputs (warning and critical) for over-current; configurable averaging
- Pre-attached 3.5 mm terminal blocks and Qwiic-compatible STEMMA QT connectors for I2C: connect without soldering
- I2C logic level equal to the supply voltage; libraries for Arduino and CircuitPython/Python
